“Hey Man, What Are You Laughing At?”

Philosopher Johann Wolfgang von Goethe once said, “Nothing shows a man’s
character more than what he laughs at.” Jack asks the questions such as; Is all
humor OK? When is humor not OK and where is that line crossed? This
enlightening presentation uncovers how certain kinds of humor help perpetuate
stereotypes and contribute to the devaluing of human beings. Encourages
students to think twice before using humor in negative ways.
